In August of 2020, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) published NIST Special Publication 800-207. This special publication follows on the focused interest in Zero Trust initiatives, which by 2022 almost every organization has adopted to some extent.
