The Red Hat® Coffee Hour with Intel series is a monthly videocast featuring luminaries from technology, society and the world of STEM. Topics for discussion will include governmental and societal impacts of technology and open source as well as the role of technology and work/life balance. Perseverance in the face of adversity comes in many forms. A veteran of the United States Army, J.R. Martinez was driving his Humvee in the middle east when he hit an Improvised Explosive Device. He spent 34 months recovering from burn injuries which covered more than 34% of his body. J.R. has gone on to star in Dancing With The Stars, All My Children, and captivate audiences with his motivational speaking. He works extensively with the burn survivor community - The World Burn Congress and with Operation Finally Home to help build housing for US Veterans. Adam Clater, Chief Architect at Red Hat and JR Martinez will talk about his life experience, his involvement in the communities he continues to serve and what the future holds. Jose Rene ""J.R."" Martinez Former Army Veteran, actor, best selling author, and Dancing with the Stars season 13 winner In September of 2002, J.R. was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division. In March 2003, Martinez was deployed to Iraq. On April 5, he was driving a humvee in Karbala when his front left tire hit a roadside bomb. The three other soldiers were ejected from the burning vehicle, but Martinez was trapped inside. He suffered smoke inhalation and severe burns to 34 percent of his body. He spent 34 months in recovery and has undergone 34 surgeries since his injury. Martinez is the author of the New York Times best-selling book, "Full of Heart: My Story of Survival, Strength & Spirit," a memoir about how he was able to take his own personal tragedy and turn it into an inspiration for others.

    ¿No te salen las cuentas en la nube?

    La nube tiene importantes ventajas: ahorros de costes, facilidad para trabajar en equipos remotos, menor necesidad de administración de la infraestructura, mejoras de seguridad, etc. Sin embargo, al comentar con algunos clientes la posibilidad de migrar las licencias de Atlassian a cloud, me comentaron que habían hecho alguna experiencia de migración y no le salían tan bien las cuentas.
